These females handled very well throughout the time of assessment, yards were wet/muddy with a concrete base, so there was a little bit of slipping and sliding during drafting, although no major attitude issues were observed. During the weighing process they may have been stubborn if anything, potentially due to the many years of being in and out of the crush for animal health/veterinary reasons.

TRT Pastoral Group of Mansfield are offering their classed in aged females for genuine sale on a "PTIC" basis as vendor is willing to have these animals' pregnancy tested prior to delivery at their financial cost. Purchased as young females many years ago, they have been retained within the TRT herd due to their exceptionally high fertility, calving ease & the fact they have produced a live calf every year since being acquired. It is to be noted their structural integrity for their age is exceptional in my opinion with udders & feet most definitely suitable to last another season or two. Feet/Toes were hard to observe in the muddy yards, but rest assured any females with long toes or hip issues were removed prior to assessment. They are a large frame cow with lots of capacity, heavily muscled & exhibit the true to type characteristics of the Angus breed. Joined for a tight six period to calve Aug/Sep provides either a short-term trade prospective or longer-term pending longevity.
