Assessor Comments
A nice line of well grown HARD HAT ANGUS sired heifers, station bred at Packsaddle, & carrying the renowned ONE TREE STATION Tag. These heifers were purchased as part of a line of mixed sex yearlings back in January, ex Auctionsplus. Previous owner stated heifers had been running with HARD HAT Angus bulls from weaning until delivery (2/1/23). Vendor drafted the heavier heifers from the mob on arrival & joined to his Speckle Park bull, in anticipation of some of the heifers already being in calf on arrival. Scanning suggests that approximately 3 or 4 heifers will calve to Speckle Park bull, & the balance to an Angus sire. These heifers are very fresh & forward in condition and are exhibiting good softness and stretch. Approximately 4 heifers, were observed to have small white marks on udders or underbelly , & 1 heifer has white underbelly with blue fleck extending up the brisket, typical of Angus x Shorthorn cattle. 2 heifers in the mob presented with slight Droughtmaster influence.

Vendor Comments
Purchased ex Auctionsplus back in January along with the steer portion, with the intent to grow the steers to feeder weights, and retain the un-joined heifer portion for breeding. These PTIC heifers, do not align with our joining program.
