These heifers were literally run in as we arrived, and let go as we finished, so they were full and fit !! Subsequently a couple were a little unsettled on the scale. The yards are quite small and only one at a time could be walked into the race, and the scale had to be placed in front of the crush as the cattle only just fit, despite all this they were quite easy to handle, and you would expect that under normal circumstances they would all be quiet.

Assessor Comments
An impressive yard of crossbred heifers, that were bought to fatten, but were subsequently joined, and so are going to be well over 2 years old at calving. The heifers are joined to a very quiet Apricot, Sarana Limousin bull. There are 11 Charolais cross heifers of which 3 are a creamy coat, and 8 are grey, 4 Angus ( 1 BB), and 4 Blue Angus. These should be very impressive units once calved.
