Temperament should be noted. A few of the cows are noted as having poor temperament. In calm conditions, in a good yard the cattle would respond favourably. They need time and space. The balance are happy to move sensibly enough through the yard.

A line of 12 x 12 NSM 3 x year old Angus Cows. Purchased as cows and calves in 2021, they were rejoined to Hazeldean and Bongongo sires. Due to unfavourable seasonal conditions and disruptions to the vendor’s pasture improvement plans they have decided to reduce some of their cow numbers. The cows are improving in condition after a long wet winter and doing a good job on their calves.
Of the 12 x calves there are 2 x Black Baldy calves who were sired by the neighbours Talbalba blood Poll Hereford bull. (They are both steers) the calves have been vaccinated, Multimin Injected and castrated. One calf was noted to be a little woody but should improve with the spring flush.
One cow was noted to have a small lump on her jaw, it doesn’t seem to be effecting her. (See photos)
