Assessor Comments
Excellent opportunity to purchase a breeders line of early Spring calving PTIC heifers with 25+ years of Dunoon genetics to complete the package. The Narrawa herd comprises generally larger framed volume females with progeny excelling in both grass finishing and feedlot conditions. These future breeders are PTIC to Dunoon P140 on a tight 7 week joining with EBV's of BWT +0.9, 600D +107, EMA +5.2 and positive Rib/Rump fat. These heifers have been running on hill country with natural grasses so present generally in fresh forward store condition. Females that displayed great temperament at assessment, working easily and without fuss through the yards and weigh box. Noted one heifer with a small old pinkeye scar. Buyers have the option to leave out the black baldy at delivery if requested.
