An exciting opportunity to purchase an extremely well bred and beautifully quiet line of seven year old Hazeldean blood cows with calves at foot who have been sired by Hazeldean (ID-NHZL1065). The vendor has purchased leading Hazeldean sires for many years and these cows & calves certainly show the Hazeldean characteristics in their quiet temperament and high growth rates. These cows are doing a fantastic job not only on their calves but on themselves and have easily kept on condition in this hard and wet Monaro winter weighing in at an average of 723kg at time of assessment. The Sally Flat Partnership cattle are renowned around the Monaro district as true 'front paddock cattle' and always produce weaners that are a feature in the Elders Cooma weaner sale every year. The vendor has offered a delivery at the Cooma sale yards for buyers convenience. Please note that two cows have white udders and one steer calf is missing hair on his head but isn't showing signs of this effecting him.
