Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These cows were a pleasure to handle through the yards. They are very quiet and calm going through the round yard and up the race. The cows that were slightly stirry in the race were upset after being Preg-tested or while having a NLIS tag replaced in the head bale or being mouthed. Once back in the mob they calmed down very quickly. Walking around the cows in the cooler taking photos the cows stood very calmly. There has been a lot of emphasis placed on temperament in the Richmond Hills herd.

Assessor Comments
Buyers an opportunity not to be missed to purchase a line of very quiet & easy to handle predominantly younger composite breeding females in the prime of their breeding lives. The Richmond Hills herd has been producing good quality weaners to suite a wide range of markets, with their weaners being very sort after in the Blackall weaner sales. There has been a lot of emphasis placed on temperament, fertility and doing ability. There are 5 cows with brindle in their coats. There are 4 cows with fly bites on the neck & around the eyes, 5 cows with old injection lumps on the neck, 3 cows with old pink eye scaring in one eye (eyes are cloudy but have some vision in them) all not expected to be any issue.
