A GOOD LINE OF STATION MATED HEREFORD- RED ANGUS X COWS AND CALVES, 4TH & 5TH CALVING COWS WITH SAPPY YOUNG HEREFORD X CALVES AT FOOT THAT AVERAGED 225KG ON ASSESSMENT DAY. 8 COWS WERE PREG TESTED 1 - 2 MONTHS IN CALF AT TIME OF ASSESSMENT AND THREE COWS WERE SCANNED UN-DETECTABLE BUT ARE SHOWING SINGS OF FLUID. ALL COWS HAVE BEEN RUNNING WITH A RED ANGUS BULL FOR 8 WEEKS AND WILL CONTINUE TO RUN WITH THE COWS UNTILL DELIVERY. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CALVES ARE STEER CALVES! AND ONE CALF HAS BEEN TREATED FOR SWELLING AROUND BREACH FROM MARKING WHICH IS CLEARING.
