Assessor Comments
Nicely presented draft of PTIC Angus heifers, due to commence calving late October for approx 6 weeks (see Vet Cert., although bull was in for longer period). Heifers are Langi Kal Kal blood having been purchased ex the breeder in September 2020 for the purpose of growing out and joining, and show good depth and bone. PTIC to the Rossander Angus bull, heifers present in ideal calving condition being fresh forward store to forward condtion without being overdone. At assessment, approx 80% of heifers displayed some rub marks on neck & hips, but appear to be getting over this as we move into warmer months (refer photos). A good opportunity to acquire well grown, nicely bred and presented PTIC Angus heifers to calve late spring.
