Generally very quiet and easy to handle in the yards. 1 heifer was a bit stirred up but was possibly as she was the first weighed and was on her own for a while.

A lovely line of PTIC Lake Hawdon 2020 drop heifers. The heifers on offer in this sale are from the complete drop - None retained.
Lake Hawdon are well known for quality & these are no exception. This line are beautifully roomy soft cattle with plenty of shape, bone & appeal. Joined to the listed low birthweight Nampara heifer sire, all has been done to achieve an easy care calving in the early part of 2022. Also carrying the EU Accreditation, these heifers will command the front paddock of purchaser for years to come. They handle very well in the yards and crush & their temperament is very good. 1 heifer however was slightly stirred up when isolated from the others while weighing but appeared ok when back in the mob in a larger area.
This line is straight black but with 1 prominent blue roan as shown in media etc.
There are 2 other lines of heifers from Lake Hawdon in this sale totalling 28 all up.
All lines come with the assessor highest recommendation.
