15% are in strong store condition and relative to the big older calves - The lightest condition heifers are most likely to have the biggest calves on them. In general the majority are in very forward to fresh condition & have been improving on the top quality fresh feed in the last 4 weeks. The calves are in fantastic fresh sappy condition.

Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The heifers moved through the yards for drafting freely with normal blocking & without any real rush or concern being handled in a managed & quiet fashion. Even the second time around for assessing they were as calm as the first time & relatively quiet. At times if any were isolated or cornered they did fizz up a little bit however given ample space & respect they settled quickly. The majority literally walked calmly into the crush & stepped out, only a small number fidgeted in the crush.

Assessor Comments
First calf Brahman & Brahman cross heifers with Angus calves at foot - very fresh and sappy. Their mothers are doing an excellent job and milking well. A very even drop of calves born in a very tight deliberate 3.5 month window av: 150kg 81kg - 209kg with 8 only under 120kg & on the do. A good style calf suitable for all markets & a very quiet disposition. The heifers were at ease when walking through for photos showing little to no sign of concern when near or between them & their calves. Cows NSM. Calves unbranded.
