Overall these females were good to handle. A couple of females were unsettled when pressure was applied in the yards but once taken off they settled down. Cattle handled well through the race/crush and on the scales. These females have been educated to move when pressure is applied but also settle when the pressure is off. Quality line of 2019 & 2020 drop PTIC Angus females. Females are PTIC for a very tight 3 week calving to commence mid-September 2024. Joined to industry leading Scott’s, Shacorrahdalu & Galimbang Angus sires (EBV's attached). These fertile & productive breeders had weaners taken off at pregnancy testing and have done an excellent job raising their calves. The vendor has been using the highest quality Angus genetics available in their herd with a focus on Birthweight, 600Day Weight, IMF & Positive Fats. The Galimbang cattle have a history of performing exceptionally well on feed and are highly sort after by repeat feedlot buyers. Handling history reflected in weights. Mustering and moving started Monday, Cows preg tested Wed then fence weaned until assessment on Friday. These females are classed in breeders, only being offered to the market due to later calving not suiting the vendor’s program. This is a not to be missed opportunity to purchase quality Angus genetics. Highly recommended
