These heifers and cows are good to handle in the yards and were calm while assessing them in the crush. A handful of them became slightly stirry, during the preg testing process but calmed quickly.

62 Vet tested PTIC Cows and Heifers suitable for a B-Double load. These Cows and Heifers range from just under 2 to 9 years, however 92% are 6 years or younger with plenty of good years of breeding ahead of them. The vendor uses good quality Angus and Brangus bulls, over their predominantly Angus/Santa based breeder herd. 84% of the lot are Vendor bred (please note vendor has 3 separate brands present on Vendor bred cows). These cows and heifers are 1.5 to 4.5 months pregnant and will calve out in a tight 3-month window. The cow portion of the mob have produced a calf every year, as the vendors place a strong emphasis on fertility. These mostly large frame females were easy to handle through the yards. There were 5 brindle/speckle coated cows/heifers, with one white faced cow. One cow may have old blue eye noticed when taking photos. One #7 cow had two enlarged front teats.

These predominantly heifers and young cows have fallen out of our 2-month calving window. The Cow Portion have just had a large weaner taken off them at the end of August and are back in calf and ready to keep producing top quality progeny.
