Assessor Comments
A handy line of young Angus cow & calf units, predominantly 1st calver heifers with 4 x 2nd calver heifers in the mob. These young cows are doing a terrific job on the TeMania sired calves at foot. Cows have been running continuously with the TeMania Angus bulls since calving, creating a real opportunity for a rejoining. These cows were purchased in larger lines as yearling heifers from various districts both in NSW & VIC, & then joined to the vendors TE MANIA Angus bulls, and split into smaller mobs at calving. Cows present in store condition, are of good to moderate frame, with further development still left in them, & are producing plenty of milk, which is evident in the sappiness of the calves at foot. Young cows at the peak of production, with plenty of opportunity to add further value by fattening the cows, growing the vealers & preg-testing the cows in 6 weeks time.Continuously joined young cows, which, with the size in the calves, are most likely back in calf.
