Assessor Comments
A line of very good quality Charbray X cows and calves. Cows were pregnancy tested and of these 19 are back in calf (3-in-1 units). 2 are red taggers (slightly over 4 months) and 17 blues taggers (2-4 months), the balance of the cows have had the opportunity but not as yet detectable. These cows stand on great bone and show plenty of frame and capacity. Cows have just had weaners pulled off and have done an outstanding job on those calves, as well as doing a solid job on the current calf. Cows being 3 to 9 years of age the longevity of this line will be an asset to any herd for many years to come. These cows stand in strong forward store condition and as such their weights would indicate they are large to very large framed cows. These are guaranteed by the vendor to be CLEAR OF TICKS so no risk for buyers in any state. Please note, approximately 20% are showing some degree of rubbing from fly bite. Buyers unsure about dipping protocols are advised to call selling agent.

Vendor Comments
Cows provided a excellent crop of weaners to top up numbers of yearling cattle, being a Santa dominated herd we were looking for a Charolais influence in heifers which will be retained in our program. Cows now surplus to requirements.
