Cattle were good to handle overall in the steel stock yards with a concrete floor. They were mustered and locked away from the calves night before and mothered in the morning. They were easy to mother and settled well once back with the calfs. There was 3 heifers slightly stirry in that process, but settled by the end of assessment

Assessor Comments
17 x 17 Hereford / Poll Hereford Heifers and calves. Good quality units that have grown out well, have nice eye appeal, milk and doing a good job on their first calves. Heifers calved unassisted to Erinvale Angus LBW bulls, Cattle were good to assess and mother over the two days. Young breeding females that have there full life of breeding in front of them. Hereford young females are hard to find, Heifers have not been rejoined, note the lightest cow in the assessment has the biggest calf on her. Note 4 dehorned the balance Polls, Note 2 cows have a slight old pinkeye scar. Calves 1 Hereford colour the balance black coated, be sure to have a look over the photos and videos and if you need more please contact us
