24x24 2013 drop cast for age cows acc. EA Prowse "Frederick Hill". Cows commenced calving on the 25/07 & finished on the 25/09. The Prowse's have been purchasing top end sires from the well renowned Te Mania stud for the past 20 years. Bull selection is a stringent process where key traits such as moderate birthweight, 400 day growth, temperament & structural conformation are a key focus! Cows are taking full advantage of the prosperous spring & presenting in prime condition, are carrying plenty of milk & doing a wonderful job on the calves at foot. 20% of the cows were mouthed & were all deemed sound. 4 cows were noted to have hair line cracks in their feet. 1 cow to have 1 long back toe & 4 cows were observed to have old pink eye scarring - please refer to media. Buyers also note the vendor has one more lot on offer in this sale.
