Heifers and calves were fine to handle through vendors yards. Heifers and calves were separated and weighed straight away with the heifers working calmly through the yards. Calves handled typical of calves newly separated from mum and being weighed. Once returned together cattle were fine and handle typical of cattle with some Brahman content.

The heifers are doing a great job on their first calves in the current dry seasonal conditions with the calves showing plenty of weight for age.
