Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Excellent temperament and very well educated heifers, worked through yards and draft with no concerns. small percentage became slightly agitated in the crush during weighing and mouthing or poked their head through the rails trying to get to their sisters beside them. small number of heifers did not want to step onto the scales however they were shiny and brand new and would not consider this an imposition on their temperament in the slightest.

Assessor Comments
4 decks of very good quality Droughtmaster heifers, first round "keeper" heifers, kept with the intention of joining in the next 10 days. Ideally suited as replacement breeders, these young heifers would be an asset to most breeding enterprises. Heifers have not had any known access to bulls or stags and were visually bulling in the yards and ready to join to the bull of your choice. A rare opportunity to purchase a young line of genuine breeder quality heifers of this nature. well suited to southern markets and tried and tested in the north, these heifers will not look out of place wherever you take them. 100% Reds and honeys, large percentage of polled heads and excellent temperament. offered for sale only as a substitute for second round weaners that have "cut up" significantly after recent rains. a genuine opportunity to buy a line of heifers that are highly regarded in the marketplace with numerous repeat buyers across QLD and NSW that can attest to the quality of these cattle.
