Predominantly fat score 2 & 3 with the odd 4. Heifers are fit to travel up to 800 km from property in one lift. A 12 hour spell is recommended at 800 km if travelling further. Heifers are on a rising plane of nutrition and have simply "cut up" slightly after recent rain, have no concerns regarding body condition or energy levels.

Heifers were slightly agitated at assessment however generally not a fair representation of vendors herd. Heifers had been mustered that morning with a helicopter and were unusually agitated to handle particularly in the weigh box and during mouthing. heifers settled easily in the large yard after assessing & walked out in the paddock with no concerns at all. had heifers been walked in using vendors normal program using bikes and horses i have no doubt these heifers would have been much better.

Assessor Comments
3 decks of genuine breeder quality red Brahman heifers. these heifers were part of vendors replacement breeder herd and culled based solely on Preg-Test in August. bulls had been running with heifers until point of testing so very likely a percentage of these heifers will still be in calf. Large frame with good bone throughout the mob, plenty of hip height and quality in these girls that are ideal as future breeders. 26-30 months in age, 100% reds and honeys and vendor bred these girls tick alot of boxes. in store condition after recent rain, these girls offer plenty of compensatory weight gain and have the frame of 380+ Kg heifers. on a rising plane of nutrition with a good grass response from recent rain and some heifers notably cycling in the yards. would expect any heifers that are not in calf to slip straight in upon joining to the bull of your choice.

Vendor Comments
Heifers were part of our replacement herd and were culled in August due only to their pregnancy status. body condition and frame would suggest a good percentage of these heifers should have just been undetectable at point of preg-test.
