These heifers moved through the yards briskly and were no trouble to handle. While being assessed in the crush 10 of the heifers were slightly stirry with 3 of them trying to climb out of the crush. When these heifers exited the crush they settled down when they returned back to the mob. In my opinion these cattle would not be suitable for someone who has had limited livestock handling experience.

Opportunity to purchase a line of 26 Bongongo Bld heifers that are PTIC to a Rockwood Angus Bull to calve September/ October 2024,These heifers were purchased off Auctions plus from Birroon Pastoral Co at Gunning as NSM heifers. They are large framed heifers that present in store to forward store condition. I believe that these PTIC heifers may suit some one who is looking to build up their herd numbers or looking at a trading opportunity by calving them down and selling them as heifer and calf units in the late spring. NB Purchases please take into account loading protocols for these heifers due to their pregnancy status. Also 1 heifer had a grass seed lump on its jaw ( refer photo) and 3 heifers were noticed with some patches of rubbing on their coat.
