Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cattle always handled in a calm manner using Low stress practises. Easily brought up to the force & race by a single handler. All females led up the race and stepped on the scales without issue, all were caught in the head bale to be manually preg tested by the vet, this caused some upset with a few pulling on the head bale and jumping about. All exited sensibly, and settle back within the mob. All heifers led out of the yards sensibly for photographing, and were relaxed and well mannered.

Assessor Comments
Very nice line of young females. Out of moderate framed cows, bred for fertility, structure & longevity. Heifers with good shape, length & maternal attributes. Selected as part of the top draft, and only offered for sale due to the vendor only retaining the first 2 cycles. Carrying years of Dunoon Angus genetics, with the more recent introduction of Ardrossan. Always maintaining a strong focus on high growth figures, positive marble & maternal traits - particularly calving ease & birthweight. And the result of on-selling anything that needs assistance calving in recent years has drastically reduced/almost eradicated the need to assist in any calving! Females that are very quiet to handle in and around the yards, always in a low stress manner, and will be a pleasure to calve down as 2 year olds.
