These cows have lovely quiet temperaments and flowed easily through the yards. A pleasure to handle throughout the entire assessment process. 2 heifers were uneasy standing on the weigh scale platform but quickly settled when returned to mob.

Offered is a line of quiet, well bred PTIC Gunyah blood Poll Hereford cows in calf to 'Hazeldean Quince’ a carefully selected low birth weight Angus bull purchased from the 2021 Hazeldean Bull sale. These cows have been joined to Hazeldean Quince in a tight 6 week joining period and have been PTIC by a vet as 2-3 months in calf which will put them in a March/April calving. These cows range from 2-4 years old, weighing an average of 547kg and presenting in store to forward store condition. The vendor prides himself on breeding cattle with quiet temperaments and this really shows on this line of cows. These cows are EU accredited and have huge upside potential with plenty of years left in front of them as breeding cows. There are 10 maiden heifers in this lot and the other 7 all raised calves last season. The vendor is currently calving his spring joined heifers to Hazeldean Quince and having no calving issues to date with a majority of the heifers currently calved down.
