As cows are predominantly purchased they varied in temperament but they all worked well through race draft in yards. The shorthorn cows tended to slink around the back of mob when i was getting photos.

129 Cows and 43 Calves that would load on 6 decks. 93 of the 129 cows would be 6 year old or younger so in the prime of their breeding life. The remaining 36 head are only 7-10 years old. I mouthed 50% of the cows with indistinguishable age brands and the teeth matched vendors purchasing records. No cows had badly worn teeth. The vendor weaned 27 calves that were 6 months + from the cows and there was 1 grey calf (pictured ) that i presume was a poddy. Approximately 16 cows had long toes and I have pictured possibly the worst. At assessment there was only 1 lame wet cow however I would expect a long truck trip may alter this number. There is 1 bottle tit cow. Please see Vendor Comments to why all cows are included in sale. The 13 PTIC young Brahman Heifers were preg tested by owners representative and only put in to fill 6 decks. The Shorthorns cows are only fair quality, small framed cows however the remainder are medium to large framed and will fatten into heavy cows.

33 Vendor Bred Cows included in mob. The 26 Shorthorn cows were purchased as weaners from NT in 2016 and remainder were purchased locally in 2017 or purchased from around Emerald, Roma and Dalby in 2019.

I have to move my Breeders to agistment North of Julia Creek and didn't want to take the softer X Bred types. I then made up to the 6 decks with 13 Brahmans that are only 2-4 years old and were preg-tested in calf by station representative.
