This line of 50 Santa & Droughtmaster cross cows range in age from 8 to 12 yrs old and weigh from 404 kgs to 642 kgs full with an average weight of 476.7 kgs empty. They have 51 unmarked 2 week to 4.5 mth old calves at foot which have an average weight of 122 kgs. The breed break up on the calves are approximately 31 black coated Angus/Santa cross and 19 red coated Santa/Limo/Droughtmaster cross. A large percentage of these cow were purchased in as young breeders from predominantly Ringwood and Napperby. The calves are sired by Pathfinder, Stoney Point, Sterita Park Angus and Maryvale Limousin bulls. Note cows have been running with Angus bulls since calving.
