Assessor Comments
Buyers a small lot of cows most with a calf at foot and been running with bulls continuously. The cows are mostly in very plain store condition having spent a considerable period of their lives feeding behind a bulldozer on pulled Mulga scrub. As a consequence they have not been given much of an opportunity to grow out as younger heifers so most are medium to smaller framed cows. The few older cows that were probably born in reasonable seasons are quite large framed cows. There are 20 calves at foot that haven't been cut. There are two calves with a weeping eye. There is also 1 cow with a blue spot in both eyes but sight looks to be fine. There was also another cow with a blue eye and sight looks to be slightly limited in that eye. As mentioned they are all age branded but very hard to read but udder development would suggest most are younger types. These are just starting to hit their straps and given access for a prolonged period of time on good feed should start to fatten well.
