Assessor Comments
Very good line of Angus heifers that have been joined to a Low Birthweight "Pentire" Angus Bull. 17 out of 19 Heifers are 6 - 8 months in calf. These Heifers will be checked prior to loading in accordance with fit to load guidelines. Any Heifers being deemed too close to calving will not be loaded. Heifers are forward in condition and are of good frame. Heifers predicted to grow in to large frame cows given the opportunity. Heifers have been on good feed up until the last month then put onto silage to maintain good condition in preparation for calving without getting too fat. Some heifers have some lice rub marks on neck. 2 heifers have small white patch on navel. Some heifers small amount of white on udder. Very tidy line of heifers that are quiet and easy to handle, broken in to electric fences. Some heifers agitated on weigh platform and were unsettled in yards after but settled quickly in holding paddock. Refer videos.
