A LINE OF MIXED-AGE PTIC COWS IN CALF TO BRAHMAN AND SANTA BULLS. THE COWS ARE A MIX OF 25% FIRST-CALF HEIFERS, 20% 3 TO 9 YEARS & 45% 10 TO 14 YEARS. ALL THE 10YRS & OVER COWS WERE MOUTHED, WITH 1 HAVING A BROKEN MOUTH, 4 WITH WORN TEETH & THE REMAINDER HAVING SOLID MOUTHS. COWS HAVE BEEN ON AGISTMENT FOR THE PAST 8 WEEKS, BEFORE THAT THEY HAVE BEEN ON THE ROAD FOR 6-8 MONTHS. THE BRAHMAN TYPES WERE PURCHASED FROM NORTHERN VENDORS WITH THE SANTA AND SHORTHORN CROSS TYPES COMING FROM A LONGREACH VENDOR. THE AGED COWS ARE A MIX OF 40% LARGE FRAME, 50% MEDIUM FRAME & 10% SMALL FRAME COWS. THE FIRST-CALF HEIFERS ARE ALL OF MEDIUM FRAME. THERE ARE A 10 CROSS BRED CALVES & 10 BRAHMAN CALVES. THE COWS ARE DOING A FAIR JOB ON THEIR CALVES & WOULD MAKE FOR A GOOD TRADE LOT. THE ANIMALS THAT ARE BACKWARD OF STORE ARE FIT TO TRAVEL BUT WOULD SUGGEST A SPELL AFTER 800KM. PLEASE NOTE DELIVERY IS ON FARM 30KM NORTH OF ILFRACOMBE.VENDOR HAS ANOTHER LOT OF PTIC'S TO MAKE UP 4 DECKS.
