Heifers were all quite well behaved throughout assessment. Easy to draft off the calves. Some were a bit ‘jammy’ in the forceyard, but once a leader went, they would then follow on well. Let out into the small laneway for photos and were all settled to walk amongst for photos. A couple of heifers with a bigger flight zone that were more comfortable at the back. Have been getting fed hay, so will follow the tractor/ute and are quiet to walk amongst in the paddock also.

Good lot of commercial Angus Heifers & calves, purchased as PTIC Heifers from the Bowyer & Livermore feature female sale, Ex Carcoar, Couple of different ears marks in the mob, all Te Mania & Rennylea Angus blood, with bright, healthy Te Mania Angus blood calves at foot. Re-Dep to the Cornerstone Angus Stud bull for a 9 week joining from 1st June. Calves have all been marked and the majority have already got one foot on the till averaging 185kg at assessment. Initially purchased to retain as some core breeders, offered for sale now due to the tight season & wanting to focus on a Spring pasture renovation.
