Assessor Comments
18 x 18 Angus breeders. Eight to twelve years old. Average full weight 518kg. Range 432kg to 582kg. Calves 18 head average 105kg 8 steers and 10 heifers. Bull in since November early. Two old blue eyes noticed from old blight. Cows sound in body structure & mobility is good. No knocked hips observed. One cow had bottle teat on one quarter. Cows are providing ample milk supply and calves are showing good early growth and sap. Vendor has run short on tags, 3 cows and 5 calves to be applied. Calves branded 5 days before assessment and elastrator rings applied male portion. Calves will have had 1st vaccine shot prior to delivery. This mob of cows and calves are quiet well handled and given high plane of nutrition will turn off excellent progeny and cows suitable to further condition and maybe calve out again. The bull that's in this mob and will be seen in video is been offered for sale in the Stud and Genetics Cattle sale 29/11/24.
