Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The heifers were very good to handle in the yards and up the race. The odd one resented being mouthed but nothing threw itself about and all walked onto and stood on scales. Nothing aggressive. I would regard them as quiet, generally.

Assessor Comments
Vendors presenting an attractive lot of heifers which have been well managed since purchase in April this year. The vendors depastured them with very good quality Hazeldean and Te Mania Angus bulls selected for calving ease. They present in forward to fat condition and are well grown weighing 532kgs after 1 hr in yards. The bulls were given a tight joining of 61 days. All heifers were red tags at testing (20/9/21). They are all very good shaped heifers and no apparent reason why they won't make good matrons. They were good to handle and walk around. The vendors normally run an Angus programme and carefully select their heifer bulls. These heifers would be a nice addition to any breeding programme with good constitution and all their lives in front of them.
