Good Cattle to handle in the paddock and yards. 3-4 cows became understandably protective of their calves when put under pressure in the yards. All cows came up to the crush for assessment with relative ease one cow requiring a bit of persuasion

Assessor Comments
A good trade opportunity exists with these cows & calves. The calves are of very good quality and will be suitable for a wide array of southern markets while the majority of these cows having enough frame to grow into good slaughter weights. The cows despite their age are doing a marvellous job on the calves and have been doing well with the rising plain of nutrition. 10 older/poorer cows mouthed with 3 observed to have worn teeth.
Please Note: 1 calf with pinkeye, 2 cows with 1 or more bottle teats (other teats useable), 18 cows observed with fly bite
