15 Hereford X cows with Hereford calves at foot, a great trade opportunity for the successful purchaser. These cattle were purchased ex Packenham as store joined cows in June 22 to take advantage of the winter feed and are now being offered for sale. Cows are all older, with 7 having broken mouths (see photos) but are doing a great job on their calves and present in health condition. Of those assessed 3 cows had blue scaring on one eye but was not obviously affecting sight. Cows worked well through the yards with 5 becoming slightly stirry in crush but settling quickly once returned to the mob.
