Assessor Comments
A good line of 51 x 51, 2.5-3 year old NSM Angus heifers with their first calves at foot. These heifers were purchased as future breeders but have to be sold due to drying conditions which is shown by the store condition these heifers are in, however they would bounce away given the opportunity on good feed. Heifers were a pleasure to handle in the yards and are very quiet. This is a good opportunity to secure young females with 2 to 4 month old calves at foot, averaging 91kg. Calves showing good growth for age. Sex break up; 29 x bull calves, and 22 x heifer calves. Calves sired by 'Moogenilla' Angus bulls. At assessment 13 x heifers were noticed to have white utters and 1 x heifer with a white navel. *Buyer's note; 2 x heifers noticed to have blue eye scarring, and 2 x heifers noticed to have a small lump on cheek and jaw line, not considered detrimental to the health of the heifer. Vendor is happy to take price reduction on the 2 x heifers noticed to have lumps.
