Assessor Comments
These are a top shelf line of Te Mania blood 3-in-1 units with Landfall Angus calves at foot. These heifers all calved unassisted, the calves are July/ August drop, all marked and weighed 166kg (142-218kg) at assessment. Calves are sired by Landfall Momentous S426 - a high indexing bull with top 3% IMF. The temperament of these cattle is a real feature, with the vendor spending a lot of time with the cattle to get them absolutely dead quiet. These heifers are back in calf to Landfall New Ground S1766 - a high growth bull with figures in the top 10% for 400/600 day weights & EMA (link attached), and due to calve June/ July 2024. With plenty of class and breeding, these units would suit the most astute Angus breeder and make a great investment for years to come. Please note; one heifer with an old eye scar and one calf treated for pinkeye at assessment.
