Quiet natured females in the yards, all led up very sensibly and were easy to draft off their calves. A few cows were a bit anxious in the weigh box, doing some stomping about. All exited the crush at a walk and settled immediately once back with their calves.

Assessor Comments
Good line of mature age cows with cracking Charolais calves at foot. Purchased as joined cows with Charolais calves at foot. Those calves were grown out and weaned and sold in the January premier coloured weaner sale. Units that would be an ideal lot to do a split job on, with a 150+kg calf at foot approaching a wean-able age & and a large framed store cow to fatten on some Spring pastures in a buoyant cow market. Alternatively, cows are showing active signs of cycling and are ready to put back with the bulls of your choice on delivery.
