Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Very quiet cows to handle in the yards, all calm and sensible to walk through and easy to draft the calves off. Cows are big and long and a few became a bit upset having to squeeze up the fit on the scales. A bit of stomping, stepping off the side & rocking back/fourth. Once let out they all settled immediately, turned around and began looking for their calves again. Very easy cows to handle.

Assessor Comments
*Part Herd Dispersal* A & J Perkins offer for sale for the first time on AuctionsPlus part of their core female herd as they slow down their breeding program and begin transitioning into trading. These are big framed, proper Angus matrons. Very long, deep strong women, with very soft faces, all doing an excellent job on their young, spritely calves. The Perkins family have been using Jade Park Angus sires for a number of years, always focusing on selecting sires for maternal traits & growth. Cows are carrying plenty of milk (and plenty of cover to keep making more!) and some beginning to show signs of cycling. Big, quiet, well bred cows & calves.
