Ext. Breed
The herd the heifers came from did have a background with some Devon, in my opinion there are a few heifers showing a few different breed traits in the head, body and coat to a typical Angus.

Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Very well behaved heifers in the yards, 1 got upset on the scale more from confinement than temper, and she was the only heifer to push through the mob in the yard, not a problem.

Assessor Comments
A nice line of soft black heifers that the vendor says have been a pleasure to handle. These heifers should go on to become great breeders and would look good in any paddock. The vendor also has 23 mostly Black Baldy heifers in this sale. A great opportunity to put together 40 PTIC heifers. As stated in breeding, there is the odd heifer showing a slightly different head, body and hair type to the typical Angus, due to a Devon background in the herd they came from. There is one heifer with white marking to the navel, and another noted with a little white underline. There is one heifer with a blue eye shown in the photos.
