These steers arrived with their mothers over 12 months ago and it was evident they had not been handled often. Since being weaned off their mothers, they have responded well, They don't however like to be pressured.

The steers were selected out of approximately 80 head. They are the softer of the cattle, selected on temperament and softness of colour. They are to be handled with care and patience, the selected steers showed no aggression towards anyone, but could be well be described as quick, We mouthed three of the older looking steers and two were milk teeth and 1 with two.

Steers were purchased as calves with trade cows out of Clare in South Australia. Since arriving at Myree, they have responded well to high quality natural pastures.

Bloodlines are unknown but are mixed breeds of Shorthorn, Santa & Droughtmaster.
