Assessor Comments
A lovely quiet line of well bred, predominantly 2nd calver young cows, with 1 x 1st calver heifer in the mob. These young cows are growing out nicely, & are doing a terrific job on the TeMania sired calves at foot. Cows have been running continuously with the TeMania Angus bulls since calving, creating a potential opportunity for a rejoining. The majority of these 2nd calvers were purchased ex Auctions + out Southern NSW & Victoria, as yearling heifers, with bloodlines all based on TeMania genetics, making them of similar type, with the addition of 1 x first calver heifer bred by the vendor. These young cows present in fresh forward condition, are of good frame, with further development still left in them, & are producing plenty of milk, which is evident in the sappiness of the soft & square calves at foot. Easy handling, quite cattle at the peak of production. A couple of calves present with slight ringworm marks around the head, which does not seem to be affecting their performance.
