Assessor Comments
A very smart line of F1 Black Simmental Angus cross heifers. These heifers are all black coated and could be an option to put some extra grunt and hybrid vigour into an angus program without compromising on the black coats. These heifers are well grown and very quiet to handle. Michael Garvey's core farm operation is the PTIC heifer market, and he has a great reputation for the heifers he selects, grows out, and joins to quality LBW angus bulls. There is an odd heifer with some old ringworm scarring that is healing, also there is one heifer with a significant amount of white underneath due to the simmental influence. Michael Garvey has another lot of 21 PTIC angus heifers in this sale.
