Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These heifers were a pleasure to handle right throughout the drafting and weighing process. Each heifer stood still on the scales in the crush and waited contently then walked on when asked to move. Not docile as they moved off when asked without hurrying at anytime. These heifers showed no signs of temperament issues even when the calves were being pulled of them.

Assessor Comments
A small quiet line of Red Angus heifers doing a great job on their first calves at foot with only 1xCharolais Composite Heifer just abit older with only her 2nd calf at foot. These heifers have been put in a regular pasture paddock and have been kept at a forward to store condition to help with calving. The calves present in fresh condition exhibiting great squareness, softness and structure for there age. Given the correct nutrition these cattle will power ahead as all the hard work has been done, not having the intended purchaser to worry about calving difficulties. These heifers and calves creates a great opportunity in purchasing youth that will do a job in any intended breeding program for many years to come. With the weaner and Cow market hitting record prices this small line of Quality 1st & 2nd Calvers screams OPPORTUNITY.
