The vendor uses low stress cattle handling practices. Lovely quiet heifers. Please note:- I have quoted one heifer to be slightly stirry. This is being over critical because the heifer has the youngest calf at 1 month and is very protective of that calf. The heifers had already been through the crush for a preg test at 2 pm so were not too happy about being assessed 2 hours later and being separated from their calves again.

Assessor Comments
5 lovely quiet, quality Angus heifers . Vendor uses low stress handling practices. They have good bone & conformation and are pregnancy tested as not being detectable . All heifers have an Angus calf at foot. They are unregistered Stud bred heifers, and are rising 2 to 2 1/2 years old and could be retained as breeders. Very well handled cattle. Heifers 488 - 530 kg at assessment - Calves 61 - 99 kg averaging 83 kg. Calves have been vaccinated with 5 in 1. 2 heifer calves & 3 steer calves - 2 of the cows have a small amount of white on the udder, otherwise all have lovely clean udders. The heifers have been redepastured with the Stud Angus bull Note that the heifer which was slightly stirry had been in and out of the yards twice and separated from her youngest calf (by - vet & assessor). Settled down when back in the paddock with her calf.

Heifers are only being sold because the Stud is reducing numbers after the troubles associated with the drought. Calves at foot are 1 to 2 months of age.
