Assessor Comments
46 x 46 cows and calves have been running with bulls continuously. The cows are mostly store condition. Prior to the rain in late February the cattle were fed on pulled or cut Mulga and since then cows have freshened up on the current Buffel grass and natural grasses presenting them in a fresher condition. There are 46 calves at foot that have not been processed as yet. These cows have done well to even be cycling let alone continue to breed good young calves coming out of the feed conditions experienced prior to February. At assessment two cows had their horns tipped and treated with Terramycin spray and one cow presented with a possible stick wound in neck and was also treated with Terramycin spray.
