Assessor Comments
A good line of 19x 1st to 5th calvers plus 1x 7th calved Watervalley crossbred cows 417kg curf, with 20 Angus cross calves at foot, The cows present as healthy forward store condition and the calves are very fresh and healthy, line includes 1 older calf. Cows are generally easy handling in paddock and yards with a bit of run. Cows are putting everything into their calves and doing a great job, they have been on fresh grass and clover based pasture and will grow on if fresh feed is available. Watervalley cows are well known for their ease of calving and good doing ability under most environments, they were Dectomax drenched, 5 in1 B12 vaccinated plus Multimin so are perfect to put straight out. Mostly younger cows and calves, have all the hard work done and will go forward with Spring feed available.
