Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These cows are free flowing, do not like being confined with nowhere to go. When let into bigger yards they do take a bit of time to settle. Some are prone to panic a bit when presented with an open gateway and do tend rush at it if not steadied. Nothing was aggressive, dangerous or hit the rails, however it would be advised to take your time and not rush them.

Assessor Comments
A run of mostly British cows that were vet Pregnancy tested in calf to Stud Red Angus Bulls the first week in July, suggesting that they are all over 5 months in calf. The lead of these cows started calving 3 weeks ago and care was taken at assessment to remove any cows that were deemed too close to calving and will also be removed at delivery to ensure fit to load guidelines are met. These cows have been running on an accredited Organic propety and as such the calves will be eligable for Organic status once born. 4 cows were noted to have signs of lice around neck, brisket or ribs, they have had no chemical treatments. PLEASE NOTE. One cow does have a knocked down hip, (old injury and not lame), 2 cows have slight blue scarring on one of their eyes and one cow has a small ulcer on her eye, please see photo. VENDOR ALSO has a further 24 cows PTIC in the same sale.
