Assessor Comments
An extremely well presented line of AI'd Angus Heifers that have been pregnancy tested in calf to a Palgrove Ultra Black bull. This was an opportunistic purchase from the Vendor as they had excellent summer rains followed by a large area of beneficial flooding from the Warrego River - being purchased from the Muchea area in WA when conditions extremely tough, the breeder would normally retain these after putting so much effort in but was forced to sell with limited rain and fodder reserves empty. These heifers were bred from AI using RR Endeavor 9005 and EF Commando 1366, both chosen for their calving ease. These heifers will suit all climates, and have acclimatised well to the Cunnamulla district. Heifers were weighed after mustering and overnight curfew + Preg Testing prior to weighing so plenty of compensatory gain to be had. There were a pen of truck fillers bought from Muchea saleyards when purchased but quality is alike.
