Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Any score 1 cows vary from store to the odd cow backward store but are certainly strong and considered fit to travel most distances. Long distance travel may require a spell. Purchaser should advise detailed instructions for delivery including desired curfew off water prior to loading.

Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cows were very easy to handle in the bigger yards and appeared mostly quiet when being photographed and videoed. Quite a few were a bit difficult to handle in the race and crush and would mostly be because they had only just finished being pregnancy tested prior to assessment and they were definitely stirred up a bit from that experience. There are also a couple that possibly could become aggressive if isolated from the main mob if you enter their flight zone.

Assessor Comments
A line of mainly medium to large framed store cows all PTIC. Cows are mainly 9.5 and 10.5 years however were not mouthed as there were no safe mouthing facilities available. I would suggest in this country that they could be in varying stages of wear. These will suit to calve out and either on-sell or take through to winter next year with a weaner calf to sell and an opportunity to fatten the cow on crop or herbage. These cows are in reasonably plain condition as they only just had big weaner calves removed at the end of May (8 weeks ago) and also run in light country so access to improved pastures or crop would see these improve in condition. The market is on the move it would seem so shop now in case it goes higher again. They are also a good straight line of single breed cows so makes them a more attractive line as a trade if required. There are also signs of some lice on these cows so they would benefit from a backliner on arrival.
