The mob was a pleasure to work with. The cattle have been well educated and were easy to handle with only a couple getting agitated when in the crush. Most heifers stood still on scales. They should make excellent matrons with their general temperament being a feature.

Assessor Comments
An attractive line of Droughtmaster heifers PTIC (red tag) to Angus bulls. A feature of these females is their temperament as they were a pleasure to work with. The majority are one mark heifers with only 2 head being introduced (Santa) from another mob, similar age, purchased at the same time. They were rejoined with this mob after missing first go around with first mob. All tested between 5 and 7 months in calf to Angus bulls. Three heifers had a hazy eye, not affecting their mobility. The cattle have had good growing conditions since arriving in October. They are well grown for their age and appear to have plenty of scope left to mature further. All were weighed with the lightest being 384 kg's and the heaviest 526 kg's to average 454 kg's after 8 hrs. All mouthed showing milk teeth. The heifers are forward in condition and have plenty of depth. Given their temperament they should make nice mothers. Please note: Angus Santa heifers same property and joining this sale.
