the Ellerston cattle are always a pleasure to handle in both paddock and yards, and these heifers are no exception . it is a credit to the management and staff for the extra effort taken when handling their stock.

50 x 50 first calf heifers and calves. these heifers are progeny of the Ellerston Hereford and Black Baldy Cow herd and are sired by the Palgrove Charolais sires. these heifers are spring 2018 drop and have their first calf at foot. cows have been running back with the Curracabark and Knolwa Angus sires since the calves were marked on the 20th of April.
there are 30 heifer calves and 20 steer calves at foot. there are 28 calves with a black coat and the balance with grey and white coats.
please note 2 calves are still carrying a patch on eye from being treated for pink eye at calf marking (20/4/21)
Also there is the odd blue cloud in cows eyes, however not deemed detrimental .
